We are a company established on August 24, 1999, dedicated to the production, commercialization and distribution of accessories for water, telecommunications hardware for fiber optics, and electrical components.
With several decades of experience in these sectors, we have been able to successfully participate in both national and international markets, offering products of the highest quality.

1975
Start of activity
ROBERTO ELIAS VERGARA GARCÉS began his hard work in the metalworking industries around 1975 with a factory manufacturing hardware for telephone networks, such as:
Clamps for posts, cable spool holders, molds for round concrete posts, and H-type posts. For electrical networks, among the most important, he produced items such as clamps and anchoring pliers.
1980
Start of manufacturing accessories for drinking water
Around 1980, he undertook the job of creating and manufacturing water accessories, producing special parts for water networks, such as collars, mechanical joints, and flanges.
With the growing demand for his products, particularly due to their popularity among state and municipal companies such as the Water Company, the Electric Company, and EMETEL (which later became ANDINATEL), the VERGARA AMAYA family decided that the business of Mr. ROBERTO ELIAS VERGARA GARCÉS should be established as a legal entity.
This was aimed at achieving greater positioning in the national market due to the rapid growth experienced with the hardware manufactured by Mr. ROBERTO VERGARA GARCÉS.
1999
Growth from workshop to industry
With this background and considering that his initial workshop grew to become an industry, the VERGARA AMAYA family decided to form the company INDUSTRIAS METALICAS VERGARA “INDUMEVER CIA. LTDA.” The name of the company was derived from the industrial branch, the activity it performs, and the surname of the owner of the initial business, who later became the majority partner and founder of the company.
As can be seen, the abbreviation INDUMEVER was originally created by the Vergara Amaya family and comes from the initials of its original name, Industrias Metálicas Vergara. After several meetings and attending various industry gatherings, INDUMEVER was able to establish key clients, including:
EPMAPS, CNT, Electric Company of Quito, Quito Metro, and the Government of Rumiñahui, maintaining a relationship of trust and significant achievements.
2022 - 2023
Expansion of the workshop and warehouse area
With our constant growth and always aiming to improve, the management of Indumever decided to take a significant step toward investing in the expansion of the workshop and assembly area in order to enhance processes in both areas, allowing for better handling and storage of our products.
